And my own top ten
WHOOPS I forgot Three Women that's 100% up there for non-fiction
You must read The Great Believers immediately; it has become a favorite of mine. And The Overstory. Loved both.
Just finished my first Jhumpa Lahiri (Whereabouts) and am a newly minted Jhumpa fan. It seems that they omitted trendy authors/books on purpose?!
Noted! Absolutely going to read Jhumpa (and Overstory + Great Believers). And it's crazy: they literally called Sally Rooney "the first great millennial author" in one of their own headlines. Zero editorial cohesion!
Let the great world spin feels like another glaring omission! Or honestly anything colum mccann
READING SOON. Also got a lot of texts about how I haven't read Atonement and Wolf Hall...READING THOSE SOON TOO
