5 on Friday: summer fashion finds for this weird weather
On silky sweaters; serotonin-boosting dresses; and an almost-sold-out shirt
If you are anywhere in the contiguous (love that word) United States this summer, but especially on the East Coast, you’re likely a bit disillusioned by the summer weather. In New York City, we endured a brutally cold winter (after, I must admit, a glorious fall), and convinced ourselves that hot and sunny summer weather would come knocking by Memorial Day, as a reward of sorts. What we’ve had instead is (picture me listing these weather conditions like this)…fog; driving rain; mist; hair-crushing humidity; constant clouds; and, when it’s not 60 degrees, it’s 100. It’s a struggle to accept, but it’s even harder to dress for. Today, I’ll help us solve that problem with some serotonin-boosting fashion finds designed to suit the weird weather.
